The set includes 3 pcs of AABCOOLING Super Silent Fan 7. The description below refers to a single item.
Silent 70 mm fan with FDB bearing
AABCOOLING Super Silent Fan 7 is a quiet fan measuring 70 x 70 x 15 mm. It runs at 2000 rpm ±10%. Airflow is 29 m³/h and the noise level is 17.3 dB(A). The modern FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) ensures smooth, quiet operation and a lifespan of 100,000 h.
Key features
- Solid construction – 70 x 70 x 15 mm
- Modern IC motor
- Cable in black sleeving
- Quiet FDB bearing
- Airflow 29 m³/h
- Mounting screws and anti-vibration pads included
- Lifespan 100,000 h
Applications
With dimensions of 70 x 70 x 15 mm, the fan fits where space is tight – for example to cool the motherboard chipset. It also works well in electronics housed in small enclosures, such as set-top boxes, tuners, amplifiers and power converters. It can also be fitted to an AMD CPU heatsink in place of a noisier fan.
FDB bearing – quiet and durable
- No friction and a longer lifespan – ordinary sleeve bearings rub and heat up, which shortens their life.
- Vibrations are damped by the oil.
- Practically the only source of noise is the fan blades.
- Protection against oil leakage.
- Spiral oil distribution ensures even lubrication – the oil does not collect in one part of the bearing.
- The same bearing technology is used in hard drives.
Installation and connection
The fan is fixed with four screws, just like standard power supply fans, so it can quickly replace a noisy fan.
- Direct connection (e.g. inside a power supply) after removing the 3-pin plug: the black wire is ground (–), the red wire is power (+) and the yellow wire carries the speed signal. Without the yellow wire, the BIOS cannot read the speed. A product with a removed plug cannot be returned.
